Design & Modeling

Students follow the Engineering Design Process to build prototypes out of everyday household materials. Students build an ankle brace, wooden puzzle cube and a therapeutic toy. Students also get an introduction to 3D drawing on paper and online

App Creators

Students use MIT App Inventor to program & create a variety of apps. Students will create apps that solve real world problems in some of the following categories:

Health
School Culture
Environment
Education
Community service
Emergency preparedness
Entertainment

Automation & Robotics

Students build simple machines, add gears, and learn how torque and speed are related. Students are able to program machines to complete various tasks.
